Here’s what you can expect from your Austrian Motorcycle Tour....
Prior to Day 1 If arrangement has been made we will collect your luggage on the Thursday evening
Day 1 We meet either at Toad Hall in Ipswich or at the ferry port in Harwich where your will be given your tickets for the overnight crossing to Holland. After a good nights sleep in your cabin and a hearty breakfast we start our journey towards Austria.
Day 2 Setting off we travel towards our overnight stop in Germany taking in both motorway and scenic routes. We travel a distance of no more than 330 miles taking regular breaks for fuel and refreshments. Upon arrival at the hotel you are free to enjoy the evening, however we are always on hand for any issue you may have.
Day 3 Once again after a good breakfast we shall load up the luggage vehicle and start our journey to Austria where we will spend the next five nights. Once again we shall take regular fuel stops and a chance to stretch your legs. If you wish to make your own way to the hotel you are more than welcome, however please make sure you have your maps with you and the contact numbers of the AMT representatives. As we arrive at the hotel I am sure the welcome drink will be just that, and like me I am sure you will be looking forward to dinner.
Day 4 -7 From our hotel in Austria tours are arranged with our local guides. But again should you wish to explore the area on your own then the AMT representative will be more than willing to help you with any help that you may need.
Day8 All too quickly we find ourselves heading back for our overnight stay in Germany. As the mountain roads disappear behind us we say goodbye to Austria and travel along the autobahns towards our hotel for the night. Once again we shall be making regular stops and upon arrival at the hotel the evening is your own.
Day9 After our overnight stop we head off towards the Hook of Holland for our overnight ferry. Once again there will be a mixture of roads to provide a lasting impression of the holiday. Upon arrival at the port you will be taken to your cabin for the overnight crossing, but I hope you will join us for one last time for a drink to wish everyone a safe ride home.
Day 10 We arrive at the port of Harwich where our journey ends. For those of you with luggage to be delivered we will endeavour to return all cases by the end of the afternoon. All it leaves is for us to bid our farewells and a quick reminder that we now have to ride on the left.
